This is a joke right?

I post on this blog every few days to every few weeks. So it's pretty rare that I post twice in one day. Every now and then I find something I just have to talk about and it can't wait one more day.


Now I wish this was a joke but I'm sorry to say it isn't. I figured when I posted two blogs about Jimmy John's last week (here and here) that I would more than likely never post about them again. Here I am sitting in front of the computer coming to the sad realization that Jimmy John's may in fact suck.

Today Jacque picked up two #6 subs before she left for work. She ate one and she left the other one for me in the fridge. I happily took the first bit and a tiny tomato fell out of the sub. Upon opening the sub up I noticed that not only did it have small tomatoes like the sub I had a few days ago but it only had two this time. Now the craziest thing about this story is that the sub in question was bought at the Mineral Point store and not at the State St. store I bought my sub at on Friday.

Is Jimmy John's practicing some sort of tomato rationing that we don't know about?

Is there a tomato shortage that is being kept out of the news?

Is my picture posted in every Jimmy John's in Madison with orders on it to only give me only small inadequate tomatoes?

I'm not sure but I'm off to write another email to Jimmy John's and see if I can get to the bottom of this annoying kind of funny coincidence.
