Dead Cartoons

I have seen a lot of strange and wonderful things on the internet.  I have also seen a lot of creepy and disturbing things on the internet.  Very, very rarely do you come across something that is both.  An exhibition at the natural history museum in Basel, Switzerland has just finished showing the works of South Korean artist Hyungkoo Lee.  He creates skeletons of familiar cartoon figures like Donald Duck and Bugs Bunny with an almost uncanny accuracy.  The show is called Animatus and finished its run on August 31st.

My personal favorite was Donald Duck's nephews Huey, Dewey and Louie.
