This past Monday I started back up at MATC for night classes. Work is again sending me to school but this semester I'm only attending one class so it shouldn't be as much of a drain on my free time like the last two were. Already I feel ahead of the curve after one week where last semester I was struggling to keep up from day one. A good sign for sure.
It's also been a busy two weeks for hanging out with friends and family. We've spent a lot of time running around saying hello to a lot of different people. You can feel the end of summer in the air and people are moving quick to get as much of it in as possible before fall sets in. We all know what happens after fall sets in. :(
I've also spent a good amount of time working in the attic these past few weeks. As of now the drywall and muding is completely finished. It's been sanded down and is mostly ready to paint. First things first I need to get all the drywall dust out of the attic. A minor setback occurred when both the fans I was using to get the dust out of the attic stopped working. Jacque pulled them both apart and got one somewhat working but we still need to look at the second fan. I should have time to tackle that this weekend. Once the dust has been cleaned up it's time to paint and then put down the new floor and trim. After that the room will be done. Expect to see a few pictures once we get that far.
As for this weekend we'll be hanging around Madison for a change enjoying the weather and visiting with a few friends. It should be a good time and I hope to get a bike ride or two in before it's all over.
