A few weeks backed I had a post of all the house projects I am working on. One of those projects is an under the cabinet magnetic spice rack. Up until this week I had been making some slow but steady progress on this project and then yesterday it all fell apart.
I've hit a sticking point when trying to keep the magnets glued to the top of the spice jar. I was able to glue four magnets to the top of the jars using super glue and I was very happy the four tiny magnets were more than enough to hold the jar under the cabinet. I was thinking I was really on to something until I went to remove the jar and two of the magnets stayed connected to the steel under the cabinet. Now I'm back at square one so I'm trying to figure out a good glue to use on the magnets. If anyone has any ideas I would love to hear them.

Have you tried gluing the magnets to the inside of the lid instead of the outside? I'm in search of a spice storage method and could love to know if this works for you.
I ended up abandoning the project and just bought a set of magnetic jars on Amazon.

Looking back I'm sure gluing the magnets under the lid would work much better but I never tried it out.
