Yes after a year and a half we are finally getting around to having a house warming party. Odd timing, I know, but it is something we always planned on doing but somehow always kept putting off. The big plus is that with it being Labor Day weekend most people already have plans so it should be a very laid back chill day with small crowds. At least that is what I'm hoping for as we can't really fit a lot of people in our house and the yard is still super infested with mosquitoes so having anything outside is pretty much out of the question. Maybe we will luck out and it will be a nice day which will make sitting on the porch and option. Which reminds me I have to mop that after last weekend.

Week Two
Yesterday marked the start of week two for me at MATC. I mentioned in passing that I was going back to school sometime last week but now I'm officially in the swing of things. I've already finished two homework assignments and sat through three lectures. Not a bad start for someone who has been out of school as long as I was. The only downside I see is that this class takes up a few hours in the evening and I'm starting to feel rushed when I get home to get things done around the house. This week is a little extra crazy because we have to prepare for a house warming party on top of our normal daily activities.
