OK this is my third post of the week and it is also about bikes. I'm starting to think this will be an all bike week on crappylogo.
While googleing (<- should be a word but isn't) cheap and fun bike modifications after finding out about the wonders of Scotchlite 680 yesterday I found these pictures.
These are all from Amsterdam, a city known for it's strange transportation network. Apparently lots of people in Amsterdam ride their bikes all over. The cool thing about these bikes isn't the fact that they are everywhere but the fact that the bikes they ride just work. You won't see very many $2,000 wooden bikes or bikes covered in some cool reflective tape. You are more likely to find a bike that is old and beat up but it reliably get their owners from point A to point B. It makes me feel a lot better about my 20 year old bike.

Ooohh. I was just in Amsterdam the other week and then again the other day and it is such a great city for bikes. They have the. best. bike transport system. ever. I wish I lived there. :)
