Bright Bike

OK back to reality about my bike and what I can afford. A $2000 bike made of wood is a bit pie in the sky for my budget but my current Schwinn Miranda could use a few upgrades. Besides being a bit too small for me it could use a bit of bling.

Enter Scotchlite 680 adhesive vinyl tape. It is black under normal light but when you shine light directly at it the tape will glow white. Not only is this an affordable upgrade it is also pretty cool. Just look at the pictures and the video below.

On top of being cool I can afford it as well. This might make for a fun weekend project if I can find the stuff locally.

I'm not sure if I have posted this before so if I have this part is for the people who have already read about the bright bike. A few weeks ago while riding around Madison on my bike I was pulled over for running a red light on my bike. I was let off with a warning but the cop wanted to bust me so bad I could almost feel it.
