I had originally planned to have a big write up for Monday about how well the Film Festival went but instead of doing anything this weekend I just sat around and watched Harry Potter movies. It was some much needed down time that is for sure.So how did the Film Festival go? In a word...Great!
We had close to 60 people in attendance and we showed 9 films. Not a bad turnout for a four week turn around on this festival. Imagine what we could put together if we had a full year to plan?
There is already talk of another film festival for next year but I have a wedding to start planning for so it may be some time before I even think about doing anything like that again. I will say that I'm more than happy with how it turned out though. Over the next week or two I would love to put all the videos from the festival online if the directors are interested. At the very least I'll put my film "Jobless" online soon. I'll have more details on that when I get a chance .
